20 covers of Paul McCartney songs by little known bands from the State where my penfriend Ginny Wright lives-Ginny Wright the famous country hitmaker from the 50s and 60s.
So in order to emphasise just where this one came from the table is covered with peaches instead of cherries!
Its all good stuff-many of these songs have never been covered before.Like Mumbo-one of my favorite songs off Wild Life where McCartney showed he could write pure gibberish as well as songs.I mean gibberish is not that easy to write-as the Trashmen found out!
The "song" though is really very clever and a couple of guys here who had links to the Georgia Satellites actually "translated " it! Its a regular love song with all the consonants removed!
Cook of the House is performed by a group called the Eastmans-this was Linda's maiden name!
