The first to do the Beatles as bluegrass were the Charles River Valley Boys on the Nonesuch label in the mid 60s when it was noted just how close some of their music was to authentic bluegrass.
The Grassmasters have made a total of around 8 CDs of music from the 60s and 70s treated as bluegrass-best title is Simon & Grassfunkel!And the one that really shouts out for it is Grass Roots-which is the name of the band whose music they perform!!
