The Hollyridge Strings were how Capitol brought the Beatles to the Easy Listening market and there were at least 4 albums with pretty unimaginative sleeves.
As for the content it was nothing George Martin in the U K had not already done but Capitol commisioned one Stu Philips to oversee them-3 years earlier he had been the producer of singles by the Marcels.
Capitol marketed the Beatles every way possible after letting a year pass
