Of all the Sgt Pepper covers this has to be the most imaginative as all the songs are based on the sounds of 50s hits especially doowop.
Thus Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is done in the style of Jerry Lee Lewis' Great balls of fire,With a little help from my friends in the style of Johnny Mathis,Fixing a hole in the style of Dion.All clever stuff
The 50s in this case means up to the British Invasion
