When the Liverpool group the Undertakers went to the States to try for a piece of the British Invasion a small time producer for the Mutual label had an idea.
To create a group supposedly half Beatles and half Stones!
After a single called Roses are red-a different song to the Vinton hit-they found themselves on the Hot 100 and hurriedly cut an album to cash in!
Also rumoured to be in the You Know Who Group was Pete Best whose American career was not happenning.
Hence the reason for the masks-to hide the real musicians!
And some 20 years later this very sleeve was spoofed!!
