Donna Lynn,a 14 year old Canadian girl who'd been a stage actress was first off in her own country with this Beatles novelty which charted one notch behind the Trashmen.
Picked up by Capitol in the States the single charted on the Hot 100.
Donna Lynn cut an album which also included her version of My Bonnie-here sung as "bring back my Beatles to me"
