McManus was of course Elvis Costello using his real name and his recording of another of the songs VERONICA went no higher than No 30.
Once the CD Age had begun many more began to appear on unofficial releases like The McCartney/McManus Collaboration-a collection which includes Costello's covers of Beatles songs
